New Pattern Release! Our new shawl is finally here.
This is a new take on our Crashing Waves motif inspired by the impressive waves and high tides in the Bay of Fundy between Maine, New Brunswick and Nova Scotia.
The model is stitched on US Size 5 [3.75 mm] needles using Queensland’s Sugar Rush yarn, a lovely soft sugar cane viscose.
Pattern is knit from the bottom up so circular needles are used to accommodate the large number of stitches.
We recommend using pattern markers between each section of the Crashing Waves motif to help keep your count correct and to help easily find any errors across the long rows of stitches.
GAUGE – 28sts x 34rows = 4in [10cm] on US Size 3 [3.25 mm] needles.
Note that the pattern is knit on US Size 5 [3.75 mm] needles but the gauge is on US Size 3 [3.25].
